RETRO-TEEN THEME DANCE Saturday May 26, 2012.

Alright! We have had some great dances with all singles dressed to impress. Now it is TIME TO GO RETRO and GET GROOVY! Remember the high school years, the romances, and the clothes you wore? This is an evening to go back in time.

We will restore the music, the clothes and the romantic memories of all those teen-year dances and parties! Come dressed in your favorite teen apparel of yesteryear. (Poodle skirts and bobby socks, miniskirts, and hot pants, leisure suits, bell bottoms and tie-dyed shirts, greased back hair and rolled up jeans, school jackets, and the list goes on). The days of Elvis, Beatles, Cheech & Chong, Easyrider, Woodstock, Saturday Night Fever, and Abba. We will play the rock-n-roll music of our youth and reenact the moves from those days, if they still work!

Join us for some serious, cool, fun! 8:00 pm the doors open and the retro music starts at Dobson's 7116 Macleod Trail SE Calgary, AB T2H 0L3.

Advance registration is not required, $12.00 at the door Drink specials and theme menu available. Plenty of parking in the back. Prizes for the best retro outfits!

TRAVELING SINGLES PUB NIGHT Thursday, May 31 at 7:00 pm

Are you interested in hearing about travel, talking about destinations, taking a cruise with other fun singles, listening to presentations and sharing travel experiences? Then join us at our monthly pub nights. We discuss travel plans, give presentations, costs, provide single sharing options and outline destinations of the Traveling Singles upcoming trips.

You can join us on Thursday, May 31 at 7:00pm. at DONEGAL Irish Pub 1637 37th Street SW (on the corner of 17 Ave and 37 St. SW). Lots of parking in the back of the lot and across the street. Thursday special 5 oz Steak Sandwich $4.99.

We will have a brief discussion on the India trip and answer questions.

SINGLES STAMPEDE PRE-STOMP Friday, July 06 2012 - The 10th Anniversary Party...

YEP!!! We have be'n goin' to the Stampede Singles Yahoo for 9 years . This will be the biggest, best party as the 10th year of Singles PreStomp and the 100th year of Stampede takes place. Mark your calendar and spread the word to all fun-lovin' Single Dudes and Dudetts to make arrangements to attend and PARTY!! Upcoming details location and advanced ticket prices will be published on the website soon.

SUNDAY SINGLES DINNER CLUB

YOU are invited to attend Sunday dinners for an entertaining evening of tasty meals, opportunity for meeting new friends, and lively conversation with other similar aged singles. Dinner is in a different restaurant each week. Our volunteer hosts contact restaurants, make reservations and host 6 to 20 people. Everyone is responsible for the cost of their own dinner, drinks, and tip.

As a courtesy for the organizing, the posting on the website, the time and effort involved, we ask that all people attending the evening contribute $5.00 into a "fiver fun food fund".

Dinner starts at 6:00pm. Remember to call the host of the week by Sunday, 1:00 PM to reserve a spot so you are assured of a space for dinner. We confirm our reservation with the restaurant by 1:00pm.

NEW IDEA FOR A TRYOUT! We have different dinner nights for specific age groups. Sunday dinners are divided into more intimate/specific age group categories for people to meet others in their same age category. You are welcome to attend YOUR age group category.
